nitro engine question?

this goes to anybody who knows about nitro engines.
i know a lot about nitro engines. i have 6 of them so i should.know.
but one of them (OS 40 fp) has a low compression. i tried to see if it would work. i put it on an airplane, primed it, put the glow plug in and spun the nose cone.it ran real smooth but im afraid of it stopping at low throttle. i have 2 of them so its going on a twin engine plane. it's real easy to turn it over. i hear a "ssssssssss" when i do. OS engines are the most reliable so my question is

if it has a slight loss of compression will breaking it in again regain compression? (it still runs)
where it says glow plug i ment to say glow stick

Obviously you DON'T know a lot about them.

Have you checked/replaced the glow plug? Does it still have the washer on it? Is it tight?
Have you ever had the head off? IF SO, did you replace the head gasket? (Some do NOT have head gaskets, some do.)
How many running hours does it have?
Can you determine WHERE the "ssssssssssss" is coming from?
IF the exhaust port, AND you are turning it over slowly, AND it is a "cold" engine, this is normal so long as it is not excessive. (The clearance will "tighten up" as the engine heats up.)
Have you ever run it over-lean for any length of time? THIS will cause an engine to "burn out" in short order.

Multi-engine planes should use engines with similar run time on them so that performance between engines is similar.

OS engines are NOT necessarily the most reliable for all uses. (They do NOT work well in smaller ducted fan uses for one.)

No, until "rebuilt" it only gets 1 break-in.
