Axle Helicopter
My car is making a helicopter propeller type sound when driven.Its not the cv joint or wheel bearings ne idea?
The axle, cv joints, wheel bearing were all checked and is not the problem. When driving usually above 20mph, there is that propeller sound, plus vibrations in steering wheel, plus the steering seems a little off. While braking there will be a clunking sound. Any ideas?
I'd have a shop check out the inner joints. Just because the boot is not torn doesn't mean the joint is not bad. I'm suprised the shop you took it to cant identify the problem. I'd find a different shop where the technicians are certified.
