where can i get a non-resident fishing license for baja california?
i am planning a car trip down the baja and will be doing some fishing.. the last time i went to cabo i was required to purchase a license.. this was handled by the "captain" of the panga.. i wont be fishing on a boat this year, and i need to know how to secure a license that will be good for the 2 weeks in down there.. how do i go about this??
You can buy two one-week licenses, one dated to kick in as soon as the other expires. You can get the licenses at various tackle shops in the San Diego area -- the website below suggests Fisherman's Landing tackle shop (where the long-range boats dock); other local shops may carry them, too.
EDIT: As you pointed out, a one-year license is cheaper than two one-week licenses -- and allows more flexibility. Good luck!
