Boat High
Mercury 150,high pitched warning signal from the dash,boat then won't run past idle speed.What's causing this?
This is the guardian warning alarm, and indicates either low oil, or overheating. Check your oil resevoir and fill if needed, and check the telltail for water flow. If you have no water flow, you probably need the waterpump rebuilt and impeller replaced. Impellers should be replaced every 300 hrs, or 4 years. Good luck

In the long run, is it better to get a higher quality boat and spend the extra money?
I am looking at the 235 conquest that Boston whaler has to offer. My only concern is the price tag that comes with the boat. I don't know if i shuld look at a cheaper boat and lose some quality or stay with the more expencive and more quality. If you have an advice please don't hesitate to tell me Thanks a bunch!
You are buying alot of "nameplate", there are lots of quality boats that are less than BW's , look around some are even better for comfort. Unless you have lots of money to burn, save 5000 and take lots of trips with that money or buy a couple of expensive rod and reels, that quality is really worth a few hundred more bucks
