Boat High Wind Boating question for experienced boaters?
If the weather report says small craft advisory,does that mean you shouldnt take your boat out.Or does it mean winds will be higher than normal? And what precautions should one take with winds..It's very sunny here also so I dont see wionds..
For all those who would say the advisory is for small boat..Define small,I have a 20' but dont know whats small?First boat ever...
First , when you go to sea you should be careful and cautious all the time ,the other thing when you said you can go to sea with your boat it depends on the weather and how far out you will go ,for example when the weather is not good I do not go out far and stay in control to come back quickly if the weather gets worse . Your question about the Definition of small again it depend how far you will go out and the nature of sea in your area is it open sea or close sea , if you sail far out in the ocean even a 20 metre not 20 feet can be considered as small boat .
