Laptop as DVD player feature?
Hi friends, i plan to buy SONY VAIO CR36 series.... I've a doubt whether this feature is available in it. Seems without loading/boating the Operating System (only with VISTA home preium versions) we can use the laptop as DVD player only for watching movies or songs alone...
I heard that this feature is present in DELL INSPRIATION series... just to check whether this is provided in SONY VAIO CR36 series too!!
If i have the right computer than yes it has a DVD player. Look under the optical drive section. It says DVD RW which means it reads and writes DVDs

Does anyone know why certain shows get released on DVD ?
I have been waiting for a show to come on DVD and the studio isn't planning to release the show. However the show that I am seeking is no longer in syndication. So, my question is why won't the studio release some of the classic shows like Love Boat, Bionic Woman? Wasn't these shows popular when they were on the air?
