Car Nitro Gas
how to i hook up the gas tank on a nitro r/c car?
i have an old r/c car with a TNT .12R nitro motor. i also have a fuel tank that has 2 hoses coming out of it. the only connection i have seen is on the side of the carb.
I'm new to nitro cars and i don't have any manuals or anything for it nor do i want to screw anything up.
There should be a line coming from the cap of the fuel tank and one from the bottom of the tank. The one coming from the bottom of the tank goes to the carb. The other line is a pressure line. It should go to the muffler. This line give you positive pressure from the tank to the carb.

R/C Car: Nitro vs Gas?
I've had alot of electrics and now I want one that runs or either Nitro Or Gasoline. I have found a website that sells both:
Nitro: 1/8th. Fuel Tank: 125cc
http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/2HPT8.htm @ 219 UK Pounds.
Gas: 1/5th. 23cc petrol engine. http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/XRC1.htm @ 259 UK Pounds.
What would you get, and why? What is better in the long run? But the most important question: What is the most fun to drive, especially when the displacments vary by alot and one is 1/5th and one is 1/8th.

well its up to you there is a difference but between the 2 cars you got there not much. The nitro one will be lighter and be able to do just as much as the heavier gas one. gas are harder to find parts for i think while nitro parts seem to be everywhere. the noise will be a little different but small engines will be noisy no matter what so i guess if i were you id do the nitro its more fun the fuel is kinda expensive but its more combustable but again its up to you
