Well, this has only manual gear box because this was a fast test like it reads in the description. But it's possible to make rc gear box. Easiest way may be to use two motors and substarctor connection (You can find videos of that). More difficult but same time providing much more different speeds is to construct the gear box in a way that another motor shifts and the first gives the power (there are also videos of this kind of technic used in a truck and an offroader).
