How do you define a war hero?
Any of the men who stormed the beaches of normandy on D-day, the men responsible for the Dunkirk boat lift, The man who throws himself on a grenade to save his buddies.
How I don't describe a war hero, a man who on his first combat mission crashes his plane...and four more after that one. Who when captured his daddy arranged through the vietnamese gov. that he would suffer least and want for little until the war was over ( probably so he wouldn't kill himself crashing planes) "I couldn't even feed myself." Refers to the little children that were hired to feed him.

1. McCain did not crash on his first combat mission.
2. The loss of McCain's A-4 during the fire on USS Forrestal was not due to a crash; it never even took off.
3. And you have evidence that Admiral McCain made contact with the North Vietnamese to arrange better treatment of his son? Of course you do not.
4. Air Force Colonel Bud Day, a highly decorated pilot who was also held at the Hanoi Hilton, has spoke of McCain's time as a POW. Nothing Colonel Day said supports your claims or those of anti-McCain websites, including those reportedly run by Vietnam veterans.
I would suggest you learn something about the subject matter and the American military before you make such rash and unfounded rants.
