anyone know anything about any of this stuff !!
Your use of the word "hire" and not "rent" denotes that you are european, correct?
PWC rental companies are usually small operations: Owner/operator, possibly with a mechanic on staff. Mechanical knowledge of your rental units would be very necessary.
Most rentals are by the hour, and are restricted to a certain body of water or distance from a landmark, i.e. "don't go down the river past the bridge" or "stay within a mile of shore".
You would have to carry a fairly significant amount of liability insurance, to cover your renter's personal injury as well as your craft's vehicle casualty liability.
As with most boating businesses in much of the world, your business is seasonal. Unless you were somewhere in the Med or the Caribbean, you'd have to find some other source of income during the winter months. It would not be a bad idea to have a PWC mechanic's shop to do work in your off-season.
Nothing seems to get me excited. I live in a beautiful place, tons of recreation, free from my super controlling exwife for four years now(no desire to find another relationship either), highly educated, and a good job. I'm not saying that I'm unhappy or that I'm depressed. It's just that whenever I'm doing something that should be exciting with people (like jet or snow skiing, or hiking the Tahoe Rim trail, horseback riding, dancing at a nightclub in Reno, etc) it just doesn't thrill me anymore. I'm not religious and don't care to socialize in a church setting. I consider myself an Agnostic Christian (meaning that I realize that there is no way of really knowing if God exists, but if he does I feel the Christian doctrine makes the most sense). I have some good friends, but I get the feeling that they think I'm bored with them. And the funny thing is that it may be true. But I don't know why.
Where can I really find joy??
And I don't need a hobby. I have plenty of those.
Well I know you said you don't need a hobby, but it sounds like you need a jolt. No one is happy all the time obviously, but you seem really neutral and numb about life, like you need to get a taste for it again. Maybe you should try Fire walking, or sky diving to get yourself back.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_walking I've always wanted to try that!
Or go somewhere where you don't speak the language. Once I went to the Haitian grocery store and there were no prices on anything and I had to haggle with them.
Go to Yellowstone umm Sink your teeth into something tasty and new. Theres my 5 cents
