ok I got a skateboard like a week ago and I have been skin around on my cements, relatively slow we have a walkway with a ramp of cement about 2ft long and pretty steep I tried to go down it like 7 times (I am stubborn) and fell every time, my brother used to skate and he said try leaning forward and I do but I fall -
than I tried to Ollie and ill try on grass as when I do it on cement ill fall (board is going in front of me) and my from foot wont slide I try hard to slide (I have strong legs too I run) and it wont slide and than my front and back kind of jump up and I kind of do a Manuel to front wheels go up and I move and my board gets air but, I know I am doing it wrong
Any tips would be nice I do not think it matters but I am goofy and my set up is

Help with SKATEBOARD setup!?!?
So I'm getting a new skateboard.Have been skating for a while but only on those shitty decks that let you do nothing. Don't really know much about skateboard parts so any help would be appreciated. I'ld probably use it to do street tricks as well as cruise around which I know is a problem in terms of wheel size.
This is what I have so far;
-Deck: Almost ( other Suggestions?)
-Trucks: Tensors or Thunder or Ventures or Indys
-Bearings: Bones Red ( suggest bearing?)
-Wheels: I'm thinking 54mm Spitfire? or Rictas? Suggestions would be good
-Hardware: Shorty's
I wouldnt call my self a beginner but not intermediate,I've got pretty good control of the board and can do the basics.
If you have any suggestions for other parts,would be greatly appreciated! Help a skateboard noob out. =]
