Controlled Boat Water
boating question need help?
When boating on federally-controlled waters in an 18 ft. recreational vessel, what equipment are you legally required to have on board?
A PFD for every person on board, and those under age 13 must be wearing theirs, plus one throwable device.
A sound signalling device.
A USCG-approved fire extenguisher (assuming you have built-in fuel tanks *or* enclosed under-seat compartments).
Between the hours of sunset and sunrise, navigation lights on the bow, port side red, starboard side green, must be illuminated whenever you are under way (if you aren't moored, anchored or docked, then you are under way), and a white light astern with 360º visability that must be on when under way or anchored.
Not required, but should be: first aid kit, anchor with plenty of rode and the knowlege of how to use it, communication device of some kind (VHF or cell phone where service is available), drinking water, alternate means of propulsion (a paddle will do in a pinch), dock line, tow line.

This thyrister is used to control a water pump for an airconditioning system ia a boat.
i think you're full of it. there is NO thyrister used to control a damn thing on a water pump except on a hot tub. if it is, you need to do away with it and go for a conventional system.
