Fit Traxxas
Traxxas rustler vxl and xl50 - remote control cars.?
So im pretty sure im going to buy a Traxxas now but i was wanting to know if the extra speed a vxl gives you over a xl5 is (a) controllable (b) worth the price tag.
Also are there any more advantages apart form speed from a vxl to a xl5.
And last question.. Lipo batteries worth it? What should i look for, how do i get the connetors to fit etc.

I own a Traxxas Stampede with the Novak 5800 brushless system. I totally thing brushless is the way to go. By the way if you are planning on jumping and bashing and total punishment i would highly recommend the Stampede. It has taken everything I have given it. I jump it off my street garbage can all day long. It is much taller than the rustler and better clearance for jumps and general bashing.
Oh the lipo batteries are totally worth it, you get longer runtimes and more power. But only if you have the money. I haven't gone lipo myself. I find that the 3800 MaH battery adequately serves my power needs.
