what can i make or use to start my traxxas instead of using the igniter?
i need to know what i can make or use to start my remote controlled traxxas truck without using the glow plug ignitor mine broke and im sure this will help other people as well the ignitor goes down between the heads heat sink and fits over the glow plug if you can help it would sure be appreciated thanks.I would have used a cigarette lighter but the heads heat sink is in the way if you have any ideas please share them thanks
You need get a new EZ-Start (glow plug igniter). A Ni-Cad or battery glow igniter would work to fire the glow plug, but you need to turn the electric starter motor to get the motor started. It would be more cost and work to do anything other than replace the original Traxxas EZ-Start unit. What a great hobby and good luck !!
