my nitro rc has some problems?
my traxxas slayer has a 3.3 all stock. so what happens is it can start after you put it on a surface where the tires dont touch the ground and then once it starts you have to give it constant gas or it will cut off. i have noticed that it does have air bubbles in the fuel line. the air filter is clean but my glow plug is missing that ring that goes on the bottom of the glow plug and gas kinda spews out the top so tomorrow i was gonna buy a new one. do you think that could have been a problem?
Good guess, this will probably help.
A key to a smooth running nitro engine is the seals: The glow plug must go on and seal the chamber. The seal on the cap of your fuel tank is vital. The lines betweek your tank, angine and muffler must be in good shape: no holes, no cracks.
When your engine stops running smooth, go back to the basics: set the needle(s) back to original (count the turns) and verify all the silicon seals and o-rings.
Gas spewing out is bad, so are excessive bubbles in the gas lines, etc.
And make sure the screws are all tight. They loosen with time while running.
