Gas Turbine
I'm looking for a jet/gas turbine engine that gives an output of around 300-350 lb thrust, anyone know of one?
I actualy need 4 of them and home build is'nt really an option, the price isn't a huge factor but the weight is, i could do with keeping them as light as possible as im looking for vertical thrust only, I've searched the net but keep coming up with plans for self build or jet powered go karts, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Friend of mine is flying a BD5-Jet he has a TRS-18.
Try a search for the Microturbo TRS 18-1
It's US certified
The newer TRS 18-1 engine develops 325 lbs thrust.

Can anyone tell me the technical process of a gas Turbine engine please?
step by step, using all complex terms/ abbreviation meanings and components. + what is the purpose of these components.

Sucks in the air.
Squeezes it in stages to compress it.
ignites the air fuel mixture (bang)
Blows it out the aft as thrust.
