Glow Head Gasket

Hi, Can anyone please help me with my vauxhall astra van ?

Im not sure whether my head gasket has gone or i have cracked the head ? Basically my van now wont start...i have been having water coolant problems and changed my thermost and housing.
It was ok for a bit but slowly struggled to start.....I checked oil for signs of water (milky, etc) but is jet black so seems to be fine....I have now taken out glow plugs and tested the cylynders .... there doesnt see to be any diesel spirting out of the cylynders it looks like water ??
Also if i have cracked it can i use K Seal to sort the problem out even though i cant start engine ?

No- one's answering, so here.
If you are seeing water from the cylinders, you will heve either a blown gasket, a cracked head, or a cracked block. You won't know until it is pulled down.
It wouldn't matter if it was a petrol or diesel engine, such a leak is unlikely to seal by using a sealant. Especially with a diesel, the pressures are too high.
If you see water from the cylinders, when the engine ran you would be getting pressure into the cooling system. This would blow out coolant. Possibly that was the original problem?
