Helicopter Metal Tail
Buying an R/C Helicopter?
Hello i'm buying my first R/C helicopter and i was wondering which is a better kind of design, the metal tail boom or the plastic tail boom. I know metal sounds better but apparently its only held there by 1 screw which to me doesn't seem that good. Please don't give stupid answers like buy a nitro helicopter, or electric engine one, i am a beginner pilot and looking for the right tail boom material. Thanks

Cylindrical Object in Sky-- Greenfield IN?
May 6th, 2010
Today at about 10:15am I saw a small, cylindrical object in the sky outside of Greenfield Indiana (near Charlottesville). It was broad daylight with no clouds. It was shiny, white or grey, made of metal (because it heavily reflected sunlight), with no traces of the emmissions made from a plane. It did not look anything like a plane, blimp, helicopter, satelite, ect. It had no wings or tail pieces. I just found out someone else saw the exact same thing, but yesterday. Did anyone else see it? It was obviously not a normal object, nor did it look like a government plane. It traveled in the jet stream according to the other person, and at a good speed too. I cannot say for sure wether what Is saw today was moving or not.
