How would I fix my car radio's noise problem?
I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy with the factory Delco brand radio installed, no CD player, just tape. On FM, stations farther away have a "helicopter" like sound when the engine is running, but it stops when the car is completely off except the radio. I found a fuse that could have something to do with it, ECM BATT. When I remove this, the car won't start (it powers the fuel pump) but the helicopter sound has all but dissapeared. What could possibly be causing this weird noise. Also on AM, the radio picks up a large amount of electrical noise such as the engine/spark plugs, doors, lights, etc.
My second question would be, would it be worth it to replace the radio or is something wrong with my electrical system?
The noises like you state are usually from your spark plugs, spark plug wires, Alternator, bad grounds,and CB radio if you have one. You will want to fix what ever problem you have-- even if you want to replace your radio. There are suppressors you can get for your power wire, resister plugs and wires. also the fastest way to find out if your charging system is part of the mess is to unplug it or remove the belt. You may want to check the ground wire leading from the battery clamp to the body , and make sure it is still on --Also know at the "Tattle Tale" wire. The ECM power wire is for your computer. so with out it-- you would not pick up any ignition noise. Electric Control Module

Hemorrhage (car accident)?
A 23-yr. old was in a one-car accident and was badly cut on the arms and neck. A passing motorist who stopped to investigate the accident, pulled the vitctim from his overturned car and noted pulsatile bleeding from a wound in the left arm and steady flow of blood from a wound in the neck. Before the motorist could apply pressure to the major bleeding areas, the victim had lost a lot of blood. A state trooper in a patrol car noted the accident and radioed the rescue squad, who immediatley dispatched a helicopter to the site of the accident. The patient was given intravenous plasma and was flown to the nearest hospital. 1. Of the two major bleeding sites which one was more serious and why?
2. Why was the blood flow from one bleeding site pulsatile and the other steady?
3. In the patients vascular system, where would velocity of flow be the slowest? Fastest?
4. Blood pressure fell as a result of the hemmorhage, but what was the pressure profile along the entire aorta to vena cava?
1. left arm wound.
2. pulsatile because an artery is cut open
steady when the bleeding is coming from a vein or capillaries.
3.Slowest in the big veins eg.venae cva.
Fastest in the aorta.
4.the blood pressure will be falling gradually until the blood loss is stopped .
