Hub Spindle
I need help with my 3 speed hub. The indicator spindle wont screw in?
Why won't the indicator spindle screw in. This is the first time I have encountered a problem like this. Any help?
Most likely, i have never had a problem with my speed hubs. But most likely, the thread has been destroyed. Go to a mechanic to get it fixed. Or do it yourself, although the threader is an expensive tool

Spindle bearing Replacement Tool
Did you see Denny Hamlins glowing red brake rotors at Martinsville?
The most amazing part of the race at Martinsville for me was when the camera caught a few seconds of Denny Hamlins brake rotors glowing red as he was attempting to finish his final few laps to victory. How can they dissapate all that heat before it breaks down the bearing grease or warps or scores the spindles? Obviously some of those parts can't be re-used. It would seem like the hub would seize to the spindle after the components had a chance to cool down.
Yes I have been seeing that for years and Years--It is really more noticible at the Night Races.--The front end of the car has Vents and duct work to get air onto the Brakes. They also have electric fans as well!!!!!!!---It wont seize up the Spindle--The Caliper is stationary with the Pads mounted in it!!!!!!
