Model Boat Plans What is a good entry level kayak to use on flat water?
I am looking to get into flat water kayaking and want an entry level model that has a reasonable speed on flat water. I only plan to use it on flat water. I am a rower but I want to get into something new, and I figure kayaking would work some of the same muscles as well as the cardiovascular system, making it a good cross training exercise when I cannot get to my boat club (I can get my leg workout from cycling). Does anybody have any suggestions?

but not sure it is worth to buy or not? it's about $14,500 brand new model, 20 feet Cabin Cruiser,and another one at http://www.stkildaboatsales.com.au/boats-for-sale/details.html?boat_id=289

P.S. As far as I know, boat which made in China has very good quality, only the design is a bit old fashioned, but this one looks good. It has C.E on that boat.
I have asked the connectchina, they are expanding their business from China to Australia, business starter. That's why the price is so low, and factory direct. $15,000 vs $ 41,000, the price is tempting!

No need to buy a new boat. Boats depreciate faster than cars and there are plenty of really nice, newish boats for sale this time of year. Check on boattraderonline.com. I have bought two used boats, had the first one for 8 years, and now this one for 2 years. The last one, I bought when it was a year old, and had only 20 hours on it. The young man who bought it new quickly realized he could not afford a boat; I paid less than he owed on his loan, about $10,000 less than asking price!
Welp, first of all it's not a "boat…" that is defined as "A boat is a watercraft of modest size designed to float or plane on water, and provide transport over it." It would be better defined as a yacht or "refers to a very expensive privately owned yacht which is professionally crewed."
Now, with all that said…don't know what make she is as most of these vessels don't put the manufacturers name on them. Sorry.
