Monster Body Shell
Do you know the name and any other details of this film?
The only things I remember about it are these:
It was set on a remote island, probably Scottish.
It was about some quite unusual monsters which seemed to have tortoise shell bodies, no limbs or discernable head, but a long tentacle protruding from the front. With this tentacle, it sucked the insides from it's victims, leaving a soft pile of flesh or just skin.
It is grousome, I know, but you can see why the memory stayed with me even though I only saw the film once many years ago.

The movie is called Island Of Terror, and was made in 1966.
It stars horror maestro Peter Cushing.
It's set on Welsh Island, who's inhabitants are terrorised by strange looking tentacled creatures that liquify the bones of their prey.
