Mosquito Helicopter Lights Answer this puzzle? Immediate 10 points?
A guy is lost in the middle of a jungle and only has a compass, 2 mosquito coils(that burn for an hour each) and a lighter with him. He receives a signal from the helicopter he sees above him that tells him to walk north for exactly 45 mins at moderate speed and the helicopter will pick him up from that spot. How does he know exactly when the 45 mins is up?
Close, but it has to be exactly 45 mins. Markiungs are not accurate enough, & some of u were saying 1/4 burned or half burned, its just an estimation not accurate enough. Clue: Use both the mosquito coils
don't be misled! the ultimate question is how to determine exactly 45 mins from 2 mosquito coils that burn for 1 hour each?
ok i got this.
all he has to do is just walk at a moderate speed for 45 mins to the north. if he does that then the helicopter would've reached in time to pick in up.
the mosquito coils are just distractions to the question.
