I don't see why your weight would be a problem, the lighter the boat the faster, but your height could pose a problem if you're having a problem keeping pace and getting a full stroke in. Someone shorter might have to slow down in their seat to give time for those with longer legs to finish their stroke. If you have to concentrate on slowing down, you cant give your best effort when pushing with your legs.
There are a few options: You might want to consider Coxing, or try to put together a crew with people of similar builds. Or, if you can't find a crew and you have the opportunity, try single person sculling. Sculling would mean its just you and two oars to set your own pace.
