Nitro Rustler Clutch Adjustment?

I have recently finished tuning my Traxxas Nitro Rustler and i seem to have encountered a problem: every time i let off the gas, it just keeps picking up speed. to get it to stand still, i need to apply the brakes. when it jumps, the wheels spin up way too much, and there is nothing i can do about it. if i lower the idle speed any more it will cut out, and i have the throttle trim turned all the way down. i am at a loss as to what i should do to fix this problem, but i have a hunch that maybe the slipper clutch is too tight? any help would greatly be appreciated as to how to fix this!
