I have An apache RTR FI 160 On 2500 Kms.It it sensible sell my apache to Buy R15 .Which bike performs better?
I Really think that buying an apache was a bad decision.i paid NRS 198800 for it.I am from Nepal.Would it be a bad choice to buy a r15?.i would have to Sell my Apache at a loss to buy The R15which costs about 280000 NRs.Up to now i can safely say the Apache FI is one of the fastest 0-60 bikes in the roads of Nepal.I am attracted by the 17 BHP figure of the R15 on the 0-60 figure of 3.2 secs.I am a performance enthusiast and a wannabe racer.The Apache is a good performer but i want more, which the r15 claims it can give.Will it be wise to give away an Apache at a loss to add up more money to but the R15,for the sake of performance,Or is the performance gain too little To scarify the time and money.Please I love my FI rtr but i want more. I would go for A Suzuki gixxer had it not for the mileage and the constant fuel crisis in Nepal which makes sport bikes pretty dumb to buy.
Please don't give away your apache boss.If you buy r15 Believe me then you will never forgive yourself.R15 is not good for riding,it is fast but causes severe back pain and if you ride the bike daily you will surely get back pain problems. Whereas apache has very good suspension and it is more comfortable than R15.And R15 fives less mileage.And it wont do good like apache

Confused Apache RTR 160Fi or Pulsar 180 UGIV?
hai guys i finally decided to choose between apache and pulsar can u guys help me in this issue, i would like to have a bike which looks pretty good like a sports bike and also with good mileage , my friends are warning me about the mileage of pulsar, will apache give more mileage dan pulsar? im concerned with the bike performance after 1 year also(mileage and pickup) guys can u tell me whatz the price of apache rtr 160Fi in hyderabad
If you've done even the slightest of bit research (which I'm sure you have done), you know that the RTR 160Fi is superior than the Pulsar.
But Bajaj has launched a new Pulsar 180 UGIV which is slightely more powerful than the previous Pulsar 180 DTSi. So I don't think it will be good to compare the RTR 160Fi with the Pulsar 180 UGIV.
I'd instead recommend you the Apache RTR 180. It doesn't have Fuel Injection, but a new colour is available. WHITE!!!!!! And it looks awesome in white. Model is same like RTR 160Fi.

You'll see all the features of RTR 180. Besides, now it has faster acceleration, higher top speed, wider tyre (110/90-17).
But if you want fuel injection, go for RTR Fi160.
TVS engines are rock solid. On 16th August, my Fiero F2 will complete 6 years. Bajaj engines won't be able to take the stress of constant high rpm & will degrade after almost a year, this I can say for sure as I've seen a lot of "boodha" Pulsars.
Can't say about Hyderabad but the RTR Fi160 retails at 70K to 72K at other places. Go for it. Its real value for money....has rear disc brakes, fuel injection, lots of features like lap-timer, top speed recorder etc. Besides, the front tyres are a wide 90/90-17. RTR 180 isn't out officially. But all official info (like price) will be available by June end.

EDIT:
The Apache RTR Fi160 definitely gives more mileage than the Pulsar 180UGIV. You'll get around 45-50kmpl on the Pulsar 180 whereas the RTR Fi160 will give you 55kmpl. If you drive good, it'll even shoot upto 58-62kmpl. I'm 100% sure about increse to 58-62kmpl cause my friends bro. has an RTR Fi160.
