how do I get rid of this goddamn yahoo search engine?
I use Firefox and I made Google my home page. It SAYS that when I go to TOOLS; OPTIONS;MAIN. I also have it set so it's supposed to open a new tab to my home page: GOOGLE!!
Instead, this goddamn worthless yahoo toolbar comes up and I CAN'T GET RID OF IT! it's not found in the install/remove prorams in control panel, EVEN REVO UNINSTALLER doesn't see it! I started using RegCure but that's obviously a scam. They tell you they can remove it but ya gotta pay for it.
I want it OUT, NOW!!!
Use google chrome. Faster, more reliable. Faster. Faster. Faster. In fact i have over....26 tabs open right now.

Help on uninstalling The Sims 2 Pets?
I've been trying to uninstall this game for hours.
I can't find it in my programs through start or if I go through control panel and then add or remove programs.
But it thinks it's still there.
So I went through my Local Disk (C:) and I found that it's still in there.. but it won't let me uninstall it..
I have no idea what to do. I tried installing Revo Uninstaller but it said that I have to manually uninstall it which I have already tried doing, but when I try doing that it says that it's in use or it's being used by another user so I can't uninstall it. But the thing is, it's not being used my another user so I have no idea what to do..
Please help !
I just checked and when I try deleting it, it says "Make sure it is not full or write protected or that it is not in use"
I have no idea how to check if it is full or write protected.
And I know that it is not in use.
I had the exact same problem when I tried to uninstall Pets. Yes, you have to do a manual uninstall. This involves going into the Windows registry. This can be daunting but there is an illustrated guide here http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Uninstall that tells you exactly what to do. It worked for me perfectly.
