Traxxas t-maxx 2.5 piston gets stuck?
i was taking my engine apart the other day to clean it. when i turned the flywheel to check the piston and it got stuck i jiggled it free and it worked fine then i tried it again and it did the same thing. it feels like it knocks on the connecting rod somehow. is this normal? but the engine has no problem starting and running, until it gets hot even if its not to hot its shuts of. my tuning isn't great but no mater what i try i keeps shutting off on me you think this has to do with it or its the tuning
PS i don't think it has ever overheated i don't have a temp gun but i do the spit test and it has never evaporated instantly
the piston does not feel loose and it is well lubricated
it gets stuck because the cylinder is tapered (abc) that's normal but make sure you put everything back together right also look at the carb and glow plug... a new glow will help the stalling

OK i wahed the vid several times, thing is the noise seems to be coming from the PTO plate, its possible the knock is from that striking the Key in the keyway on each power stoke, rattling back and forth, everytime engine hits a power stroke, it moves just a couple thousands slapping the keyway, when your camera got close to it it sounded like it was coming from that, but thats just a guess, but yeah it could be CON ROD, gotta make sure you put the cap on the way it comes off, oil pressure?
