How do you fly a 6ch helicopter? (Blade 400, DX6i)?
im buying a Blade 400 rtf 6ch helicopter with a dx6i remote, but i dont know wht the controlls are, pleas help me.
Im a compleat noob to 6ch helicopters and all that follows but i really want to do 6ch cus iv masterd 4ch helicopters easy,
can somebody tell me what all the sticks do and the little switches do, ii really nead ur help,
last time. im getting a blade 400 rtf with the dx6i remote for £280 from fast lads perfomance

The blade 400 is a great little heli for those looking to progress into the world of complex helis. Beware, that whole self idea of mastering a 4 channel heli is different from one pilot to the next. And there is a huge difference between "mastering" and "getting board with". In my opinion, you've successfully absorbed as much as you need from a 4 channel heli when you can easily take off and land on a mouse pad with tail in and out and in between take off and landing toss in a couple fig 8's and circuits. If this is where you're at, then slowly you may attempt the 400 class. I can not stress the importance of a simulator before tackling the 400, but I know as well as anyone else you'll fly it, crash it, and only then you'll go for the sim. How do you fly it? The same way you fly any heli. Carefully.

Stick Arrangement.
Left Stick: Throttle/Pitch and Rudder
Right Stick: Elevator and Aileron
Switch Arrangement.
Upper left switch: Flight Mode - Toggles between normal flight mode and 3D stunt mode
Left face switch: Elevator Dual Rate - Toggles high rates and low rates
Inner Left face switch: Gyro - Toggles between preset gyro sensitivities
Upper rear right switch: Throttle Hold - Activates throttle hold...
Upper right switch: Rudder Dual Rate - Toggles high and low rates
Right face switch: Aileron Dual Rate - Toggles high and low rates
Inner Right face switch: Throttle cut - Cuts throttle, mainly used with nitro models...
Beware, this heli will quickly cover some ground.
